As a rolling ball you have to always be in motion, and to achieve that you must make sure that you only collide with elements of the screen that are the same type as you. Water can only hit water, fire only fire, air only air and earth can only collide with earth. If you mix them up you will have to restart the level.
Always be careful because the next level will most likely give you a new element to work with. Create a shield that will give you a buffer zone of your own element, which will ensure safety throughout the level.
